Glasgow is a city that is full of sightseeing attractions so we have chosen some of our favourite activities that should not be missed whilst you visit Glasgow
1. Take part in one of the cities many festivals –
Glasgow is renowned for its festivals and year on year they are getting better and better. We recommend the Magners International comedy festival, Glasgow Film Festival and the Glasgow Mela.

2. Shopping -
Glasgow is widely known as one of the best cities for shopping in the UK. This is hard to debate with such a wide variety of shopping areas, including both high street and boutique designer shops. Glasgow has earned it’s name as Scotland with Style.
3. Theatre & Cinema –
Glasgow is the proud host of theatre productions that have been described as second to only London in the UK. The theatres themselves are also spectacular
Glasgow is also home to Cineworld on Renfrew Street which is in fact the biggest cinema in Europe. Or if you would prefer a more intimate venue the Grosvenor Cinema on Ashton Lane is a stylish, small independent cinema.

4. Eating Out –
There is a wide variety of restaurants in Glasgow serving to all tastes and budgets. No matter where you are in Glasgow there is a restaurant nearby.

5. Sport –
Glasgow is big on sport, and in particular big on football. Rangers and Celtic football clubs are famous worldwide and both have very impressive football stadiums. Both stadiums regularly host tours.
Other great sporting venues in Glasgow include Hampden Park (Scotland’s national stadium), KelvinHall host of many athletic events and Xscape home to some more extreme sports.
